(More customer reviews)I own 2 APC RS1500 UPS's with BR24BP battery packs attached. The good news: The BR24BP extends the UPS run time exactly as it was designed to do. The bad news: When the BR24BP fails, the UPS hardware and PowerChute software do NOT detect the failure, and the failure of the BP24BP may drain a good battery in the RS1500 UPS rendering the UPS useless in the event of a power outage or event. Even though the BP24BP has failed, the UPS passes the "Self-Test" with the only indication of a problem being a decreasingBattery Capacity and Battery Time in the PowerChute software even though there is not a power outage or event underway.
