(More customer reviews)When looking for a replacement for my Dell Inspiron 5100 adapter, I read some reviews that said it needs to be 90 watt, and that some of the adapters here are 70 watt even though they claim to be replacements for the Inspiron 5100.Well this one says 90 watt in the description, says 90 watt on the casing, and does in fact charge my laptop.However, the one time I had it plugged in while starting up, I got a notice that it was a 70 watt charger and would not work with my laptop.It charges when the computer is off and when it's on though, I just don't plug it in when turning the laptop on to avoid the message.
The other review that says the end that you plug into your computer is a little loose is right on.If you pick this up with it plugged in, it's possible it might fall out, but it's a very minor annoyance and the price is amazingly low on this.Not sure if the wattage is accurate and the plug is a little loose, but it definitely does the job for the Dell Inspiron 5100.And it's super cheap, not much for me to complain about.
