(More customer reviews)I had purchased a new Canon T1i and bought this battery so I would have a second battery if needed. The first time I had to use it was on a trip into Carlsbad Caverns and, considering that I would need to be using flash and Live View in the caverns I was uncertain how long it would last. It was, after all, not an original equipment battery.
The battery allowed me to take 230+ pictures before it died. That may not sound like much considering users should normally expect 500-600 pictures on a charge, but except for the first dozen or so pictures taken outside the cave ALL of the remaining pictures were taken either with a flash or (most) with Live View and time exposures. I consider 230+ pictures to be excellent for that kind of usage and the battery performed much better than I would have expected. If I purchase another battery to carry with me it will be one of these.
